WATER

Il sottosuolo del paese è ricco di acque purissime.
Oltre alle sorgenti di Val S. Pietro che per mezzo dell'acquedotto (costruito dalla Cassa per il Mezzogiorno nel 1955) dà l'acqua al centro abitato e ad altri comuni, il paese, nei dintorni, abbonda di sorgenti di ottima qualità e sufficienti a soddisfare i bisogni
locali.
La Canala si dissecca nelle stagioni estive, mentre il Lavandaio in questi periodi diminuisce di poco la sua quantità. Chiarenzo poi è la fontana preferita da tutti, sani e malati, con un'acqua leggerissima e priva dì sali, eroga sempre lo stesso flusso di acqua.
Nel 1601 l'acqua fu  raccolta in un unico canale. I lavori di riparazione sono stati eseguiti nel 1892, nel 1920 e ultimamente nel 1985.
La quarta fontana è la Purifica rinomata per l'abbondanza delle acque.
Nei tempi passati alimentava due mulini  per la molitura del grano e di altri cereali.
Oggi nei mesi estivi, serve ad irrigare i terreni nelle vicinanze del suo corso.
La Purifica, per mezzo di un serbatoio di sollevamento posto sopra la Forcella e di una rete idrica  ricostruita ex novo, alimenta varie frazioni, come Forcella, Bagnoli, Valpara, Viapiana, Cantenne, Colledardo, la zona di Vallefredda e Campopiano.
Durante la costruzione della carrozzabile Pescosolido-Campoli Appennino, di quasi 2 Km., (collaudata il 26.10.83), è venuta alla luce in territorio di Pescosolido in località ACQUEVIVE, una sorgente di acqua la cui quantità è sempre costante e, per i suoi effetti salutari, si dice sia migliore di quella di Chiarenzo. Dovrebbe trattarsi dello stesso filone della vecchia fontana delle Acquevive, riparata nel 1828 e che si trova più in basso.
Un'altra sorgente, ma di poca entità, si trova in località "Fossato" ed un'altra alla miniera di Carovenzo con acqua minerale ferrosa.
Nel 1998 è stato costruito un nuovo serbatoio al Prato. L'acqua, che poi scende per caduta viene portata tramite una pompa di sollevamento posta nell'altro serbatoio che si trova in
Via Morrone. Le abitazioni delle parti più alte del paese avranno così sempre l'acqua.
Vi sono poi a Campo di Grano, vari pozzi, la cui acqua serve ad abbeverare gli animali durante l'estate.

 The subsoil of the country is rich of pure waters.
Besides the sources of Val S. Pietro that through the aqueduct (built by the Box for the Midday in 1955) it gives the water to the inhabited center and to other communes, the country, in the outskirtses, it abounds of sources of good quality and enough to satisfy the needs  local.
The Canala desiccates him in the summer seasons, while the Laundryman in these periods decreases of few his/her quantity. Then Chiarenzo is the fountain preferred by everybody, healthy and sick, with a water light and deprived day salts, it always disburses the same flow of water.
In 1601 water was picked in an only channel. The jobs of reparation have been performed in 1892, in 1920 and lately in 1985.
The fourth fountain is it Purifies her/it famous for the abundance of the waters.
In the past times it fed two mills for the grinding of the wheat and other cereals.
Today in the summer months, it serves to irrigate the grounds in the proximities of his/her course.
It Purifies her, a reservoir of lifting set above the Fork and of a reconstructed water net ex novo, feeds through various fractions as Fork, Bagnoli, Valpara, Viapiana, Cantenne, Colledardo, the zone of Vallefredda and Campopiano.
During the construction of the carriage Pescosolido-Campoli Appennino, of almost 2 Kms., (tested 26.10.83), you/he/she has come to the light in territory of Pescosolido in the place ACQUEVIVE, a source of water whose quantity is always constant and, for its healthy effects, it is said both better than that of Chiarenzo. You/he/she should treat him of the same seam of the old fountain of the Acquevives, sheltered in 1828 and that it is found more in low.
Another source, but of little entity, it is found in the place "Ditch" and another to the mine of Carovenzo with ferrous mineral water.
In 1998 a new reservoir has been built to the Lawn. The water, that goes down then for fall you/he/she is brought through a pomp of lifting it posts in the other reservoir that is found in
Street Morrone. The residences of the tallest parts of the country will so always have the water.
There are then to Field of Wheat various wells, whose water serves to water the animals during the summer.
